Secret Life

Just answer the questions below and make sure to link back to the blog that tagged you 🙂

Here we go!

How long have you been a blogger?

This blog launched March 20, 2015 so we are still relatively new to the book blogging community!

At what point do you think you will stop?

I’m not sure really sure. We might not stop blogging, but maybe slow down and not post as many reviews. Right now because we have a lot of reviews that we’ve already written, we are able to blog more frequently, but we will probably change that as we blog longer.

What is the best thing?

The community has been so welcoming and open. They’ve been willing to allow us to read their ARCs and as we are such a new blog, that has been really amazing.

What is the worst thing? What do you do to make it okay?

I think the pressure of writing a good review, we want people appreciate our reviews.

How long does it take you to create/find pictures to use?

Hmmm depends, especially with our logo that took us a while to make and edit

Who is your book crush?

Etienne St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss, so much swooning!!!

What author would you like to have on your blog?

Obviously not realistic, but J.K. Rowling. She has been such an inspiration to my writing, creativity and confidence.

What do you wear when you write your blog posts?

Sweatpants! I love yoga pants.

How long does it take you to prepare?

I don’t really know, it really varies, especially if we don’t like the book, we want to try and explain why we didn’t like the book properly while being respectful to the author.

How do you feel about the book blogger community/culture?

It’s great and supportive! Such a wonderful group of people

What do you think one should do to get a successful blog?

Well I don’t think there is anything as a “Successful” blog, I think if you’re enjoying yourself, and you are getting readers, that is successful. If you try and say “I want x amount of followers” you put pressure on yourself to get that and I think that takes away from the fun of blogging and meeting other people.

Who do you tag?

  1. Thanks so much for tagging me! Can’t wait to do this on my own blog and tag some others. I totally agree about the book blogger community. They’ve been amazing so far!!! And as for not putting pressure on yourself to get ‘x’ amount of followers, comments, views, etc., I’m trying to remember that while I’m starting out 🙂

Love your answer for the successful blog– I think it’s too easy to get caught up in counting those followers so it’s important to step back and remember why you read. Netgalley ARCs are a nice perk though haha.
